Clean Water Program

Rusty Holleman is part of the Clean Water program at SFEI, focusing on numerical modeling related to the Bay Area Nutrient Management Program.  He received his PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering from UC Berkeley, where he studied estuarine transport, dispersion and tidal dynamics. Following his time in Berkeley, he was a postdoctoral scholar at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution where he investigated the dynamics of stratified turbulence in a salt wedge estuary.
