Jing Wu, PhD
Jing Wu is an Environmental Scientist/Hydrologist at SEFI with a background in hydrologic and watershed modeling, stormwater management, and nonpoint source pollution control. She specializes in using environmental models to understand sources, fate and transport of pollutants in a watershed, to develop and evaluate management alternatives, and to guide management decision-making. Prior to joining SFEI in 2013, Jing was a modeling specialist at University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science with EPA Chesapeake Bay Program office. There she had worked on developing a large-scale watershed model for guiding Chesapeake Bay restoration and environmental management across Mid-Atlantic region. Jing received her Ph.D in Environmental Engineering at University of Virginia, and MS and BS in Water Resources Planning and Management from Wuhan University in China.
